We cover a wide range of manufacturing and construction activities, regardless of the size of the project. With our affiliate partners located in Bengo and Benguela, we can design, manufacture / build, test, connect and commission oil and gas production assets including underground facilities.

The special area of ​​work and interest of LAM has been the execution and management of major manufacturing, modifications and renovation of existing installations on onshore and offshore platforms and process complexes. With its deep involvement in this work over the past decade and a half, LAM has compiled well-documented construction data and drawings for almost all the main Angolan offshore platforms and projects with which it has been associated, along with other major international contractors.

Detailed project

Our attention to detail is highly focused at each stage. State-of-the-art CAD technology can be used to optimize the performance of design details. We can partner with preferred contractors to obtain the design benefits that incorporate additional design interfaces, such as piping, pipelines, civil / structural, electrical and instrumentation. Once the detailed project is agreed, LAM will formulate an accurate cost implementation program, as well as develop accurate inventory documentation for procurement. Our ability to openly discuss detailed design buildability in many cases means that it is possible for the initial work to begin while the detailed design and procurement activities are still under final review.

Welding Processes

LAM, together with our partners, operates the following welding processes, tungsten gas arc welding (GTAW) also known as TIG welding, closed head orbital, MIG (GMAW) and MMA (SMAW) welding processes to meet the stringent requirements of the various process industries. Our welders undergo regular examinations and are fully certified and approved by the main qualified companies. All fabrication and installation welds comply with all relevant BS, EN, AWS and ASME standards where they are subjected to radiographic inspection or other non-destructive inspection.

Pressure Vessels, Tanks & Non-Pressure Vessels

LAM has proven competency for the fabrication, supply, and installation of pressure vessels, tanks and non-pressure vessels and pipework, depending on project type size and specification in accordance with British, European & American standards, for example, ASME Code, Section VIII , Division I & Division II, ASME-B31-3 and ASME-BPE. We work with a range of materials including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Nickel, Titanium, Chrome Molybdenum, Incoloy, Monel, UPVC, and ABS.

Structural Fabrication and Assembly

LAM through strategic alliances has fully equipped Workshop with Manufacturing Facilities undertaking extensive fabrication work both at Onshore in its workshop and at Offshore while executing installation works. These workshops are equipped with the most modern construction equipment, machines, and fabrication facilities e.g. Power, Crane Facility, etc. to provide up to 30T per month of Steel fabrication and several inch diameters of Piping, Pipe Welding of various material such as Cu-Ni, Incoloy, NACE, etc.
